Vom 11.-12. März 2008 wird in Villach die internationale Konferenz TRUST2008 stattfinden. Die Veranstaltung widmet sich am ersten Tag unter dem Motto "Austrian Trust in IT Forum“ unter der wissenschaftlichen Leitung von Herrn Dr. Karl C. Posch speziell dem in Österreich durch das FIT-IT-Programm des BMVIT geförderten Thema "Trust in IT Systems“.

Geplant sind Beiträge aus den folgenden drei Kategorien:

    (a) wissenschaftliche Beiträge von österreichischen Forschern und Instituten

    (b) technische Beiträge von österreichischen Firmen und Niederlassungen

    (c) Informationen von öffentlichen Förderstellen und Organisationen.

Eine Podiumsdiskussion beendet den nationalen Teil der Veranstaltung.

Im Anschluss an die "Austrian Trust in IT Forum" Podiumsdiskussion findet am Abend des 11. März 2008 die Evening Reception der TRUST2008 statt. Die Wissenschaftsreihe dient als Plattform für den Gedankenaustausch mit TechnikerInnen und WissenschaftlerInnen und soll die Zusammenarbeit in nationalen und internationalen kooperativen Forschungsprojekten fördern. 

From March 11th to 12th 2008 the international TRUST2008 conference takes place in Villach, Austria. On the first day the “Austrian Trust in IT Forum” under the guidance of Dr. Karl C. Posch, which suits the Austrian FIT-IT program “Trust in IT-Systems”, will be held.

Contributions to the following categories are planned:

    (a)    scientific contributions from Austrian researchers and institutes

    (b)   technical contributions from Austrian companies

    (c)    information from public funding facilities and organisations

A panel discussion will complete the Austrian part of the event.

Subsequent to the “Austrian Trust in IT Forum” panel discussion the evening reception of the TRUST2008 takes place. The whole conference aims to be a platform for the knowledge exchange of engineers and scientists and should foster the collaboration in national and international cooperative research projects.
